Matchbox cars?

Our Camry bit the dust Memorial Day weekend. Just what Reid needed to finally convince me we needed a new car. The Camry had 230,000 miles on it and it was my first car I ever bought. He had been looking at Jeeps for about a month before. Oh my, and he knew all the ones for sale in OK and North Texas... hard top, soft top, etc. Then he got Davis in the Jeep hunt. Even though Reid was at work during the day, Davis would point out every Jeep we would pass while I was driving. When the Camry "bit the dust," I was out numbered since Emmaline had joined the bandwagon by this time. I agreed and joined also. It has been so much fun! Actually, I have been thanking them for convincing me because I love it! We have been driving it everywhere. I posted a picture of us on our way to church yesterday.
We were driving around in the Jeep. Reid asked me if I knew how he realized that a Jeep was the perfect car for him. I shook my head no. He continued, "Remember that matchbox Jeep I bought for Davis last month. Davis and I were playing cars and I was looking at it and realized it was exactly what I wanted." Moral: Girls beware when your husband brings home a new $3 matchbox car. :)

  2. That is really SWEET! What a coincidence. Just this weekend, David said he always wanted a Jeep Wrangler and was thinking about trading in one of the trucks for a Jeep! I think I'll go Matchbox shopping at Walmart
